Hi,
Can you provide me with some sample of styling connection points? For me default connection points are too small and I would like make they bigger.
Is this possible to change behaviour of connecting nodes? I would like to make connection when I move mouse cursor to surroundings of connection point, not only the exact point.

Hello Peter For styling connection points, I suggest you start by reading this blog post: http://www.mindscape.co.nz/blog/index.php/2009/09/29/wpf-diagrams-styling-a-node-element/ It shows you how to create a custom style for diagram nodes. This style is where you can include your own custom connection point styles. Try this out and let me know if there are parts that you don't understand or if you need help getting it to work. As for your other point, we do not support changing the behaviour of connection points in this way. However, you may be able to style your connection points in a way that gets close to providing what you need. For example, you could try including a transparent area as part of the connection point style. I have attached an image showing what I mean here. Try this and let us know if it works for you. Cheers

Can you paste modified NodeStyle containing green large connection points?
I've tried styling both MoveThumb and ConnectionPointThumb with no success.
Thanks in advance.

Hello Peter I have attached a small sample demonstrating how to make your own custom node style. It contains the xaml code from the blog post I mentioned earlier as well as xaml for custom connection points and size thumbs similar to the ones seen in the blog. To run the sample you will need to include references to your copy of WpfDiagramming.FlowDiagrams and WpfDiagramming.Foundation. All the xaml you'll need to look at is in MainWindow.xaml. Regards |

Thanks for the attachment.
Could you send me an example that works with trial version? When I try to run this example I get "No license installed" exception. I haven't bought your controls yet, because first I would like to check if it met all my requirements.

Hello Peter Try this one and let me know how it goes. Again you'll need to include references to the WpfDiagramming.FlowDiagrams and WpfDiagramming.Foundation dlls. - Jason |
